Before even attending we already felt like we were going to arrive to a warm welcome after receiving a courtesy call the day before and a message the morning of the event. On arrival this morning the staff were great, we attended to meet a special guy (Stitch) and it was a complete surprise to our daughter and the staff didn’t give it away once. The staff were all very lovely, every single one of them had a smile on their face and was happy to help. Great selection of food and the food was yummy, hubby had the panini but me and little miss had pancakes and I would definitely recommend giving both options a try. Great variety of drinks too. Such a great atmosphere from start to finish, having stitch there was such a bonus, it was great when he came out and boogied and he made sure every child and their family had lots of time with him and photo opportunities. I would definitely book an event here again and have already recommended to others to head there for a bite to eat and or enjoy an afternoon tea. Thank you x

My sister treated me to afternoon tea for my birthday and it was delicious. Plenty to eat, very fresh sandwiches, cakes and scones. Choice of various teas, coffees or hot chocolate. Something for all ages. We sat on the top deck of the bus and it was quite comfortable. The lovely ladies were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble

Our first time having afternoon tea at the bus, the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Our first round of drinks were lovely, but found that the second lacked in flavour (we tried different flavour among our group). Same with our pot of tea, first was lovely the second was lacking in strength (needed an extra bag in it). The afternoon tea however was lovely and allergies taken into account. My only suggestion would be some kind of net across the window at the top of the bus to stop wasps coming in.

I booked the Wildflowers on the bus for our daughter’s bridal shower (party of 9). Communication and booking process From start to finished was brilliant. Originally from Essex but now living in the Midlands, this made it all super helpful. Our daughter is gluten free and vegan due to dietary issues with wheat and dairy and Lindsay @ Wildflowers on the bus, assured me that they could provide a lovely afternoon tea option. A couple of days prior to our event I received communication and updates from the team double checking allergies and any additional dietary requirements for the bride and guests. On the day, I was allowed to arrive a little bit earlier to decorate our space in front of the bus with balloons and bridal shower themed accessories. Which enhanced what is already a beautiful and unique location. When our bride to be arrived she had no idea and was thrilled to see a huge red bus and her friends waiting for here. The food came out wow - mini cookies and cakes decorated in the bridal shower theme. The afternoon tea was yummy and plentiful with a lovely selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes. For our GF vegan bride to be her own tray of delicious food, that she was thrilled with. There so much to eat we took home doggy bags. Our lovely waitress checked in on us at regular intervals and to offer top ups of tea and coffee. We had such a wonderful afternoon, the two hours flew by, the bride and guests were having such a relaxed and lovely time. The staff did not rush us off our table, they let us stay way over our time and let us leave at a leisurely pace. We were the last to go!!! So I would like to say a HUGE thank you to the staff at ‘Wildflowers on the bus’ for making it a day to remember for our bride to be. I honestly believe our Essex family and friends will visit again soon!!

I couldn’t recommend enough. The food here is great and the service is fantastic. The setting is just perfect for a lovely lunch or afternoon treat with friends/family.

A very pleasant place to have lunch on a late spring, early summers day. The cafe is situated in an old London routemaster bus, just off the main road to battlesbridge. Service was quick, the food was fine, polite staff. The reason why I dropped a star overall was the coffee, it was not up to the standard I usually expect but then I'm very picky about my coffee. Everything else was five star and first class. My mum liked it which is enough for me and a small garden centre is next door which she loves.

Fantastic staff who were really friendly. I used a gift voucher which I had been given for Christmas. It was easy to book and I received quick response when I emailed with a query. The atmosphere was lovely and we were warmly welcomed. The afternoon tea and delicious. We have one veggie option and one meat option. Perfect that they cater for both! We weren't rushed at all and we were looked after by the serving staff. One of the best afternoon teas I've ever had and I'll definitely be returning.
